Every movie set in New York almost always has a scene in which food is bought from a street vendor – often a hot dog or pretzel of some sort. During our recent trip to New York I was hesitant to try the food, imagining that it would be poor in quality and taste. Boy was I ever wrong!
Muhammara is a hot pepper dip that originated from Syria. It is now found in many middle-eastern countries and there’s no dought why – it’s delicious! When I first made this I tried it as a dip, but I’ve found it shines best as a spread in sandwiches.
