Well, I must declare this has been a very tasty Christmas holidays. If truth be told, I’m actually surprised just how tasty it has been given my move to being a vegan.
I love avocados, I love basil and I love pasta (particularly spirals and odd shapes!). I had never thought to combine them all into one amazing dish, but thanks to reddit I came across an amazing vegan pesto dish online, and I just had to share!
I grew up eating yoghurt at almost every evening meal – it’s just the persian thing to do. Fast forward to now when I’m trying to cut down on dairy… well you can see my dilemma.
Personally I am not the biggest fruit eater and often find I get a little bored with a fruit before it’s even finished. Apparently I’m not alone. Research shows that over 75% of Americans do not eat even one piece of fruit a day.[1] Fortunately, I’ve stumbled upon a great way to rev up my daily fruit intake without too much hassle – a gorgeous fruit smoothie.
Every movie set in New York almost always has a scene in which food is bought from a street vendor – often a hot dog or pretzel of some sort. During our recent trip to New York I was hesitant to try the food, imagining that it would be poor in quality and taste. Boy was I ever wrong!
